Hello! I’m Natalie—I’m passionate about designing for social good, active collaboration and mentorship, and using research as a foundation for my work. I find inspiration in Canadian modern design of the 60s and 70s, film and television, and my community. Previously, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in Theatre and Film Production and Design, and I now hold two diplomas from Red River College in both Graphic Design and Communication Design. My focus is in branding, editorial, and web design, with additional experience in front-end development and motion design.

Align

Align is a set of two printed books that explores the use of grids in art and design. The first, Align: A Collection of Grids in Use, is a research document exploring how the grid has been applied across mediums. The second, Align: Mathematics in Art, dissects the use of the Golden Ratio in Renaissance paintings.

Agape Table

Agape Table is a not-for-profit organization that provides emergency meals, subsidized breakfasts, and an emergency food bank for individuals living in Winnipeg’s downtown core. I updated their logo and branding to appeal to the younger demographic in Agape Table's neighbourhood, encouraging a new generation of volunteers and donors.

Winnipeg Film Group

A conceptual rebrand for the Winnipeg Film Group; I updated their identity to feel modern and vibrant, while also embracing the organization’s history by utilizing aesthetics from Canadian design of the 70s.
